Roy Eldridge Trumpet Performance

Roy Eldridge had such a great, fat, jazzy sound. He could belt out some high notes, too. Enjoy, these numerous recordings of Eldridge blowing some great jazz on his trumpet.
I have to say one other thing about his music: It's fun. This is really some enjoyable listening music. If you don't have a few Roy Eldridge albums in your jazz collection, you are missing out on some great jazz.  Below, is a rare video clip of Roy Eldridge from 1961. This is amazing!
