Few modern brass instruments are argued over as much as the Corno da Caccia. The C 311 serves nearly all of those sound ideals depending on the leadpipe and mouthpiece: very soft and horn-like with the standard leadpipe and a flugelhorn mouthpiece, or much more like a historic corno with a different leadpipe and a trumpet mouthpiece.
