Features: Handmade 37-style bell with a side seam; heavy-walled red brass Bach-style 25 leadpipe; nickel or bronze SR tuning slide; two custom-fitted 1/8" vertical braces. The dearest model in the range. Spencer's published price is GBP 2,100. Will Spencer builds and voices each instrument himself at his Bordon workshop, testing and optimising it through construction and inviting the customer in to fine-tune tuning, tone, response and comfort before completion. Spencer uses only red brass for leadpipes and slides to avoid the dezincification (red-rot) he has spent years repairing on other makers' horns.
