Features: Herald-profile bell; custom heavy red brass MV7 leadpipe. Originally designed for the Chinese Army Band in Beijing and developed with UK Army bandsmen. Spencer's published price is GBP 1,750. Will Spencer builds and voices each instrument himself at his Bordon workshop, testing and optimising it through construction and inviting the customer in to fine-tune tuning, tone, response and comfort before completion. Spencer uses only red brass for leadpipes and slides to avoid the dezincification (red-rot) he has spent years repairing on other makers' horns.
